Iris Noir Boutique is an online Goth, Punk, Victorian, Steampunk and J-fashion clothing store located on the East Coast (Boston area, USA). The store is a bit of a mag-pie nest of unique treasures collected from various sources and offered for your appreciation.
My approach to selling is largely creative. This is truly a labor of love and not a money-making enterprise. I love to play around with clothing and think of the best way to combine it with accessories, etc. Some of the items that are listed will be available as sets. I also enjoy revamping, which I think of as a kind of a rescue operation for unwanted clothing. The revamped items are altered to reflect my personal vision and will not be available elsewhere. Finally, I put a lot of energy into pictures and descriptions, which are my favorite part of selling.
The store has been in operation since 2005. Although I have not been equally active in these past almost 20 years, I have a lot of experience in selling goth clothes online, including taking reliable measurements by hand and trying to provide the most useful information in the descriptions.
I pride myself on excellent customer service and stand behind my products 100%. The sense of community of people with like-wise aesthetic sense is very important to me, so I will always put customer happiness and creating good vibes in the buying experience over earning a quick buck.
