Description:
Made out of very thick blood red velvet, this dress is simply amazing to the touch. It features round neckline, well defined waist and a slightly gathered knee-length skirt. The dress closes with a metal zipper in the back and there is a small 'flap' that goes over the zipper and closes with a velvet button. There are also short metal zippers at the bottoms of each sleeve. Elegant and comfy, this dress would be great for original costumes or for goth parties!
Condition:
Fair vintage condition with no tears of stains. The velvet is not fully intact, however, and has little 'specles' all over (these are not stains but just slight damage to the pile). These are hard to photograph. In addition, the velvet is also not even in the direction of the pile, so there are big areas on the skirt which stand out against the rest of the dress. One might be able to fix that with a steamer or professional dry cleaning.
Measurements: Bust ~ 40" (102cm); Waist ~ 30" (76cm); Hips ~ 41" (104cm);Sleeve ~ 22.5 (57cm); Shoulder to Hem ~ 42" (107cm). Please note that there is no stretch.
